Every MSP knows the empty demo problem. You get a prospect on a call, you open a fresh trial account, and you spend the next twenty minutes pointing at blank dashboards saying "so here you would see your completion rates" and "this is where the phishing results would go." You are asking the prospect to imagine the product working. Some of them can. Most of them see a lot of zeros.
We have fixed that. There is now a demo organisation built into your SecureAZ MSP portal, and it is already full.
What is in the box
The demo organisation is a fully populated SecureAZ tenant that looks like a customer who has been running the platform properly for half a year:
- 50 staff across six departments - real-looking people with real-looking names, not "Test User 4"
- Six months of training history - courses assigned, completed, and overdue, because a believable org has stragglers too
- Certificates issued - the compliance evidence your prospects' insurers and auditors keep asking about
- Four completed phishing campaigns - with the click rate falling from 28% on the first campaign to 8% on the fourth
That last one is the money chart. A falling click rate across four campaigns is the entire security awareness pitch in a single picture: this is what happens to a team that gets trained. You do not have to explain it. You just scroll to it and pause.
The part your finance person will ask about
The 50 demo staff sit completely outside your licensing. They are not billed, they never will be, and nothing in the demo organisation counts toward any client's seat pool. It is a sales tool, not a seat commitment. Relax.
Getting it takes under a minute
- Open your Organisations list and click Create demo. It does not exist until you do this, and you only do it once.
- It appears pinned to the top of your list with a DEMO badge, so you will never be hunting for it while a prospect watches you type.
- Click Enter and start on the dashboard - six months of completion stats and charts make a natural opening for the reporting conversation.
- Scroll to the phishing results and let the 28%-to-8% chart do its job.
Break it. Seriously.
The demo organisation is yours to abuse. Add users, assign training, click every button you can find - none of it touches a real client. When you have made a mess, hit Reset and the original sample data comes back, pristine. It is the only part of your portal where "what does this button do" is a completely safe question.
One rule: you cannot send phishing simulations from the demo organisation. The campaign history is sample data, so do not line one up live on a call expecting it to fire. If you want to show a live simulation being built, do it in your own organisation - our guide to running an employee phishing test covers what a good first campaign looks like.
Why this matters for closing
Prospects do not buy security awareness training because the features list is long. They buy it because they can picture their own team inside it - and because someone showed them evidence it works. A populated demo does both at once. The dashboard shows them their future admin view; the falling click rate shows them the outcome they are paying for. If you want the numbers behind that story, our piece on how phishing simulation platforms compare in NZ is a useful pre-read to send after the call.
Take the one-pager with you
We have put the whole thing on a single page you can keep in your sales folder or forward to your team: download the MSP Demo Organisation one-pager (PDF).
